Looking for some cool s**t to do this weekend but drawing a blank? Here’s a few solid ideas for a suck-free weekend.

Destination Dino | Friday and Saturday

The grand opening for Destination Dino was March 5th and 6th. Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has a new exhibit that the inner kid in you (or. just you in general) will love. Prepare to transept yourself through time, not space, and set your eyes upon 25 life-like dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are hidden throughout the zoo’s forest. It’s only open through July 4, 2016, so get there!

Adult Twilight BYOB cruise | Friday and Saturday

Departure time varies seasonally*

This is a sunset cruise for adults only. There’s no better way to enjoy a sunset than on a boat with a drink in your hand (unfortunately, you have to bring your own). There will be live music from some of Fernandina’s finest musicians. Enjoy the wind, the smells, the sounds, and the environment and forget about all of your responsibilities on Cumberland Sound.

a 2 hour cruise $28 per adult

Live Music:

Friday: Larry Lemier

Saturday: Jim Barcaro

Blue Man Group

Amazingly enough, the Blue Man Group has been together for 25 years, and this weekend they’re coming to Jacksonville! If you’ve never heard of the Blue Man Group, that’s crazy, but check out their webpage. Anyway, there’e lots of splashing paint, beating drums and bald blue men. It might not sound that great but the millions of people who have seen them would beg to differ. Check them out!
