The Edge:
Somedays you just want to stay indoors but you also want to be active. The Edge is an indoor rock climbing gym with over 10,000 square feet to climb. For just $10, you could be scaling walls like Spiderman (except you have fake rocks to grab). Rock climbing is something some people take very seriously, but it’s also something you can go do for fun!
Autobahn Indoor Speedway:
“I wanna go fast.” If the wise words of Ricky Bobby pertain to you, this could be the best place for your next adventure this spring. With roughly 80,000 square feet, making it the largest completely indoor karting facility in Florida, you could be whipping around in a go-kart at speeds near 60 mph. If you’re the competitive type, you could make it interesting by adding some bets. Loser buys everyone a round of beer?
Mickler’s Beach:
If any of your inner child has survived, you still think sharks teeth are cool. Mickler’s Beach is a place where finding sharks teeth is quite possible. If you have the patience and gumption to sift through sand and find some hidden treasures, spend a day at Mickler’s Beach. If you give up on finding shark teeth, you’re still at a beautiful beach … and that can never be too bad.
Beach Boulevard Flea and Farmers Market:
With over 200,000 square feet of things to look at (and possibly buy), the flea and farmers market can keep you occupied and entertained all day. There are over 500 vendors and 800 booths, which means whosits and whatsits galore! The good news is that they’re open seven days a week (vendors depending on days), so you can go explore any day, rain or shine!
Sally Corporation:
Learning something new is never a bad thing to do and that’s just what Sally Corp. has to offer. It’s a FREE factory tour that takes about an hour long where you’ll learn a lot about how they create the animatronic creatures on theme park rides (and even get to experience some firsthand). There are also dark rides, which are interactive ride and game adventures.
