Hey, we make a print magazine here! A free one, it should be noted. And it’s free because of all the businesses, small and large–but mostly small–that advertise between the front and back cover of each issue. And while we’re confident that Void Mag will weather whatever economic storm is brewing, it looks like this new-normal, however temporary, is going to be a tough stretch for many.

Of course, your first order of business should be to take care of yourself to ensure the safety of those around you. Wash your hands, cover your coughs and sneezes, stay home if you’re sick, and adhere to local and CDC advisories regarding limits on gatherings (which seem to be changing by the minute).

Second order of business, then, is to FILL THE VOID by supporting local businesses whenever possible. Many of the local businesses who advertise in our mag (thus making it free for your eyeballs) are adapting to the new-normal, changing up hours and the manner in which they deliver services. Here’s a running list of who’s offering what–shortened hours, promos, delivery deals, etcetera. Keep checking back for updates, but, meantime, lend these businesses your business in the coming days and weeks.

UPDATE: As of Friday 3/20, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has ordered the closure of all restaurant dining rooms to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. Restaurants can still offer takeout and delivery, as well as alcoholic beverages to-go.
