Imagine you’re walking down the street, you look up into the sky, and you are stunned by a huge pair of flying testicles. ‘SkyBalls’…enough said.

This thing is BALLIN’…literally. With the U.K.’s Male Cancer Awareness Campaign, a group of advocates hope to get conversation started regarding testicular cancer. The group is hoping to increase public knowledge regarding this cancer, and ultimately save lives with early detection. Using a creative approach to a hot air balloon, the “World’s Largest Flying Scrotum” will definitely get a reaction.

An Indiegogo campaign has been created to raise the £100k needed to build the balloon balls, and the comedy legend Chris O’Dowd did a great job as the spokesperson in the ‘SkyBalls’ trailer. A #CheckYourBalls hashtag will also be added to boost conversation among men who should get checked down under regularly.

Here’s the story behind the balls

According to the Indiegogo funding page for ‘SkyBalls’, here are FIVE REASONS why the world needs a hot air balloon shaped like a gigantic testicles right now:
1. The death of young men to testicular cancer can be prevented.
2. Ignorance & embarrassment are just two reasons this cancer causes any more trouble than it needs to. The way we can stop this is through awareness & confrontation.
3. A massive flying ballsack will be impossible to ignore. And hopefully chip away at the taboos still surrounding this nasty little cancer.
4. Our balloon will also have a lifespan & a cost efficiency that will outperform any other media initiative: It is reusable, easily transported globally and should last us at least 10 years.
5. It’s a massive pair of flying gonads!

And there you have it folks. Big balls with some big ideas. If you would like to donate towards the ‘SkyBalls’ fund, please visit Indiegogo
