Happy Turkey Lurkey Nor’Easter! With all that wasn’t this hurricane season, and no “Halloween Swell,” we’ve been due some decent swell! The last two weeks have been a solid run of surf, not pretty all the time, but some killer days in between. Maybe since we suffered through the tropic season, we’ll be deserving of a great winter season.

Winter storms to the north and midwest, mega moon phases and the jet stream funneling all of this activity right into our swell windows. At present, there is a doubled up high pressure system off the northeast with tight bars driving the swell our way, and as things shift over the next few days, we will see an increase in surf and wind! Solid waist to chest-plus conditions with head high to overhead sets through Monday!

We have a lot to be thankful for this time of year. We’re thankful the Jags are on a winning streak, we’re thankful for good surf and the freedom to surf it! We also want to take time to be thankful for the men and women protecting these freedoms away from home for the holidays. Speaking of holidays, are you ready for Black Friday!? Get out to your local surf shops for all of the Big Sales on Friday and beyond to get this season’s best deals on that new wet suit, board or board bag for yourself or that someone special! HAPPY THANKSGIVING … NOW GO SURFING!
