Paul Figura is a friend, mentor, and inspiration to many in the Jacksonville community and beyond. The Emmy-award-winning photographer and director has proved to be one of the greatest creative minds to ever hit the North Florida area. With world class photography and video skills, Figura’s passion is shown directly through the images he creates.

On Tuesday, February 18th, around 10:30 am, Paul was taken by rescue paramedics to Baptist Hospital Downtown for what he thought were symptoms of a heart attack. He said the left side of his body had gone numb, and he started feeling really dizzy. Paul ended up suffering what the doctors called a hemorrhagic stroke.
Currently, Paul is in stable condition. The recovery will be a long and strenuous process, but for those of you who know Paul, you know he’s a fighter. The community has come together for Paul, and prayers from every direction are being heard.
A new website called GetWellPaul.com shows updates on Paul’s condition, a guest book for comments, and will allow the community to donate money directly to Paul and his family to help offset the cost of his growing medical expenses.

We love you Paul, praying every step of the way!
