Have you heard The Road Less Traveled podcast? It’s quite good and very many of our friends have engaged in wide-ranging discussions with the pod’s host, artist and graphic designer Sandro Young (AKA Dusty Nomad), including surf star Cody Thompson, artist and educator Dustin Harewood, Afro-Cuban Salsa sensations LPT, beermaker Eric Luman, and our very own skate columnist Trenton “Tarpits” Phillips–to name just five of the 40-plus guests Young’s already stacked.
As the times have dictated, Young’s adapted his format, launching the series “Six Feet of Separation” with friend and Hotel Palms hotelier Greg Schwartzenberger. Essentially a series of check-ins with local business owners, media folks, and brand representatives, the new format allows Northeast Floridians to update listeners on how they are adapting to the (and forgive the cliché) new-normal.
Episode 2, which dropped yesterday includes updates from News4Jax anchor Vic Micolucci, longtime Volcom man Daniel Terry, and Void EIC Matt Shaw.
