Since releasing their first album Eyelid Movies back in 2009, I have consistently been listening to Phantogram, anticipating the release of their next studio album. At long last, the New York synth-duo have announced their new album. Voices, the title of the new release, is set to come out on February 18 through Republic Records. The new album was recorded in LA and produced with John Hill who is known for his recent work with artists such as M.I.A. and Santigold. Voices is available for pre-order via iTunes and Amazon.

Voices 1

Coinciding with this announcement, is the release of a new single from Voices titled, “Fall In Love.” The track is a good showing for the rest of the album to come, and features a nice hip-hop styled beat with lead singer Sarah Barthel’s entrancing voice and powerful lyrics over the top of Josh Carter’s choppy guitar riffs. The single will also be released on a special 7″ vinyl early 2014 for all you fellow vinyl lovers.
