The Oyster Jam Music Festival is an annual oyster roast and music festival that is taking place on the river in downtown Jacksonville between April 16 and 17.
There are plenty of things to do at the festival besides listening to the 15 live bands that play there. Not only is there a ton of music, but as you can guess, there will be several seafood offerings, tiki huts and craft beers (possibly the best part).
Interested in diving into your competitive side? Well, the festival can satisfy that, too! The festival has a wake skating and wake boarding event, as well as an oyster cook-off and an oyster shucking contest. Also, for anyone who’s interested in showing off their summer bikini bodies, there will also be a bikini contest.
If you’re more into art, there’s an expansive arts village where attendees can check out the outdoor art gallery and shop for crafts and other works of art.
