Did someone say rooftop bar?
Opening this fall on the corner of Riverside and Post, comes a new upscale-casual dining experience with locally sourced menu selections from the land and sea.
River and Post’s rooftop bar will overlook downtown Jacksonville and the St. John’s River. Excited to join Jacksonville’s culinary scene, River and Post will bring a “trendy environment, great food and breathtaking river city views to the growing area of Riverside.”
The first floor of River & Post will have approximately 6,300 square-feet of dining area as well as a bar. Not to mention, there is plenty of parking (a big plus for a Riverside restaurant). The downstairs dining room is designed for 233 seats and outdoor seating for 48. Also on the first floor is a private dining and event space. The ninth-floor rooftop bar totals 3,500 square feet, with seating for 122 stargazers and another 32 seats indoors. Inspiration for this venue stems from the beautiful rooftop bars in the windy city and San Fran, and is great for Jax, with only a handful of rooftop spots.
