on Friday, June 29, LASH and Sandy Paws in Jacksonville Beach will hold a community event to support K9s For Warriors, a non-profit dedicated to providing service canines to our Warriors suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post-9/11.
“The unfortunate, staggering fact is, every day 22 veterans returning from combat take their lives,” said Rory Diamond, Executive Director, at K9s For Warriors. “The K9s for Warriors training program not only provides our soldiers with a live-saving gift, but it is also an opportunity for peer to peer support with other servicemen and women who suffer from similar issues.”
LASH in Jax Beach was founded in 2017 by Tammy Barr with the principle that, “It is never too much to ask and we are always looking for ways to give our customer more.” Lash is a salon that applies semi‐permanent eyelash extensions to the clients’ own lashes, replicating the curve and size of natural lashes. The company also offers professional services in brows, waxing and facials.
The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring their pups for portraits and enjoy prosecco pong and more fun activities.
LASH is located at 1500 Beach Blvd. #114, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
The event is from 6:30pm-9:00pm
