A music video filmed at the Shim Sham Room? Yep.

Jacksonville Beach musical duo Skip N’ Rox is set to release their debut EP soon and ahead of this, they’ve released a single and accompanying video. “Narcos” is the name of the track, and the music is certainly interesting.

Here’s the press release from Skip N’ Roxx:

Unapologetically Authentic Homegrown Musical Duo Releases New Video, “Narcos,”

Ahead of Debut EP Release

Jacksonville Beach, Florida, March 14, 2018– Jacksonville Beach musical duo Skip N’ Rox to release new video March 16, 2018, filmed at local leisure favorite The Shim Sham Room.

Skip N’ Rox represents what it’s like to be young, free, and unapologetically authentic. We’re for music lovers who don’t follow a blueprint or stencil. The goal has always been to share our experiences and personality on record; nothing more, nothing less, and I believe people can relate to that. – Skip Freshly (aka Kelly Cason)

Filmed at The Shim Sham Room by Los2k Films, the “Narcos” video showcases the talent, fun, and energy of Skip N’ Rox as a fresh sound rooted in hip-hop with an indie, post-modern pop twist. “Narcos” is the first Official Music Video released to help market the duo’s debut album, Motion of the Ocean, scheduled for release March 23, 2018. The Video loosely represents Pablo Escobar, Gustavo, and others from the cast of the hit Netflix special. Shim Sham’s own, Sam Thurman, appears in the video.

Skip N’ Rox is the creation of Kelly Cason, “Skip Freshly,” and Dain DeAngelis, “Roxo,” combining a passion for music and an unwavering friendship. Their music will appear on Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, CD Baby, and other popular music platforms.
