The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs in a 95-91 victory on Tuesday night. The Thunder now lead the series 3-2.

In the words of Kevin Durant on fellow teammate Russell Westbrook, “Russ was a maniac tonight, keeping us in it,” he stated. Westbrook took the game over in the final quarter of the night that doomed the Spurs to defeat. He ended the game with 35 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists.

In perception, Westbrook, at times, can take and make some risky shot attempts and/or result in quick turnovers.  But with no doubt, he will make up for whatever mistake he caused. In retrospect, Westbrook is learning to control his unwavering energy just at the right times. On Tuesday, it was in the fourth quarter.

With the potential to close the series out in Game 6, the Thunder’s chances are likely to happen in front of their home crowd. Stay tuned for the THUNDERstorm.
