With 4th of July right around the corner, don’t miss out on all of the live entertainment, activities, food and beverages, and amazing fireworks shows the Jacksonville area has to offer. This year, there are plenty of locations where all of your family and friends can celebrate Independence Day.
World Golf Village
World Golf Village celebrates Independence Day with its annual community fireworks on July 3. With all-American BBQ from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m., followed by priority seating from the IMAX showing of Transformers 4 at 7:15 p.m. Fireworks begin after the movie. Tickets are $35 for adults and $30 for children.
The Shipyards on Bay Street
Water activities, Woody’s BBQ and live entertainment, all along the St. Johns River.
The Jacksonville Landing and Coastline Dr. along Northbank Riverfront
Enjoy live music from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and drink specials.
The fireworks will be launched from the two barges on the St. Johns River, one at Jacksonville landing, and one location east of the Main Street Bridge at 9:45 p.m.
Jacksonville Beach Sea Walk Pavilion
During the day the Sea Walk Pavilion has live music, including country artist, Craig Campbell, food trucks, and more. The firework show will kick off in Jax Beach at 9 p.m.
Castillo De San Marco in St.Augustine
Enjoy music and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. over the historic fort.
Stars and Stripes Freedom Festival in Fernandina Beach, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the main beach. Music, arts and crafts, food trucks, water slides, bounce houses, face painting and more for your friends and family to make a day of. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. on the waterfront.
The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens
The Cummer will hold a concert featuring jazz, swing, and patriotic music. Bring your own food, blankets, and lawn chairs as you relax and watch the fireworks over the river.
