One of the Beaches’ favorite coffee spots is now brewing even bigger than before. Delicomb opened its doors at its new home on Sixth Ave North on May 13. The old location at 11th Ave North closed nearly two weeks ago, but construction issues delayed the grand reopening.

The new Delicomb features a much larger interior, with leather couches for relaxing and more tables for meeting, eating, chatting, and frittering away time on laptops. Their outdoor seating has also expanded, with six tables and a view of the beach. Parking is plentiful as well.

Delicomb persevered through it’s two week waiting game while the new location was prepared for business, and they are now welcoming back regulars and newbies alike to indulge at their new spot.

Hours are from 7 am to 4 pm, and breakfast is served all day. Delicomb aims to cater to everyone’s interests. From vegetarians to meat eaters, their menu is satisfying for both. The fried 2-egg sandwich is served on a huge, fluffy biscuit, while the acai bowl is delicious, topped with fresh fruit and local honey.

They also offer a variety of health foods like fermented, homemade kimchis, while more traditional diners can order a club sandwich, a Cuban, or a variety of wraps.  The coffee has grown quite the reputation as some of the best in town. They brew fresh, locally roasted beans in mild, medium and dark varieties.

With the new location, Jacksonville Beach will be buzzing, and not from all the coffee. Delicomb is bringing back a town favorite with a new look that’s definitely worth checking out.
