Ever get tired of seeing ad after ad and brand name after brand name?

Well, a group of students from the University of Pennsylvania did, and they created the “Brand Killer.” The device is a bulky headset, that blocks out any brands that are in its database. They only had a $100 budget and just 36 hours to complete their project.

It’s not quite the glasses from “They Live” but it does block out the brand names those students can’t bear to see anymore. They are currently looking to scale down the size of the headset. Check out the video below to see how the device works.
