Julissa Marie is a Jax-based artist and graphic designer who works primarily in acrylic and spray paint. The 22-year old was part of an all-star, all-female mural team that tackled the ambitious “Cosmic Crystals” install in Historic Springfield. An example of Marie’s distinctive and wildly alluring representational portraiture, which leans into surrealist perspectives and bold colors, can be found within our local artist “Group Show” in Void Mag’s September 2020 issue.

For our September Centerfold Shoot, Marie was kind of enough to invite ace Void photog, Cole LoCurto and our Creative Director Wesley Parsons into her studio. Click play below for a little BTS vid from the shoot, and be sure to keep your eyes on the racks for our September ish.
