Spirits were more than a little high at Friday night’s ninth annual Brew at the Zoo Festival. About 3,000 tickets were sold this year, and all of the proceeds went to benefit the feeding and care of the Jacksonville Zoo’s 3,000 animals and plants.
Patrons enjoyed unlimited samples of over 100 craft and import beers and food from 40 local restaurants. Attendees were also treated to some awesome live music and entertainment, which played from 7 to 11 p.m. If you missed this year’s event, don’t forget to mark your calendar next year! Keep in mind that if you do plan on going next year, make sure to buy your tickets early! The event sold out over a month before it took place.
