Mosey to the Museums
Jacksonville is full of museums, from historical to contemporary art. You can spend a cold day at the Cummer Museum of Art, the largest fine art museum in Northeast Florida. Alternatively, you can check out the Museum of Contemporary Art, which houses five galleries and their iconic forty-foot atrium. If you’re more of a history buff, then the Museum of Science and History or the Museum of Southern History might be a better fit for you.

The shopping in Jacksonville has more to it than typical department stores. With hundreds of shops around town, you will always be able to find something special for yourself. There’s always a place to dig for vintage goodies or antiques treasures, or you can even visit one of the many upscale chic and trendy boutiques around town. Of course, there’s always time to prep for the warm weather by stopping in a local surf shop around town and getting ready for spring.
