F. Kyle Marshall

The death of F. Kyle Marshall came suddenly, after he collapsed at a party in the middle of the night, hours before, but it was not without its antecedents. The man had beaten cancer in his youth, wrestled for years with congestive heart failure, and had been in and out of the hospital in the weeks predating his demise. Still, those who knew were still shocked to discover that a heart so big could ever actually give out, and that a spirit so strong could just disappear so fast.

As a DJ, bouncer and Soundman at places like Rain Dogs, Shantytown, Nighthawks and Justice Pub, his hands were all over the scene, literally. Those hands held us in our darkest moments, and held us up in our brightest. He left behind two children who are only now beginning to learn who their father really was, and a whole bunch of friends who never really knew.
