It’s like a yo yo effect, warming trends for days, then bam a cool snap with rain and wind creeps back in… Spring can’t seem to make its mind up this year! That has been the case much of this winter and into what is now spring, but at least it’s not flat! We’ve had another good run of surf from this last front and within this new front coming through tailing the other, we’re not going to see a major swell producer but plenty of wind and wave action to keep us all busy! Our double barreled low sitting off the coast is giving us a classic nor’east soaker over the last couple of days, and then as usual it will warm up nice and pretty and bring the suckup winds behind it as yet another Bermuda High will set in and the winds will clock around and towards the weekend, REPEAT! It’s all De-ja-vu this time of year. The good news is the water temps are creeping towards 65, and not turning back, and these Mid-Atlantic fronts this time of year give us some great surf! Who knows, we may see a tropical wave come in again in May and kickoff yet another Hurricane Season early! It all remains to be seen, but at least it’s not flat! We should have waist to chest high surf all week long with some variable winds doing the switcharoo so be ready to pounce at the right tide and your favorite break and you’ll score some fun surf!
