Slow start, bigger finish is how our week is going. We’ve had some small but ridable waves throughout the week, and we may get a little nor’east push by week’s end! A nor’east push in July? Lesser things have been known to happen during hurricane season, but it is no surprise. We will have some ridable surf through Sunday here and there in the waist-high range, and then a lull for a couple of days before some little nor’east windslop will come in that’ll have a little background swell on it in days to follow next week that should shape up. Also we’re monitoring a system that is slowly forming off the Cape Verde Islands at present, and it could progress in the next five days or so. Things are getting rip, so be ready for the picking when the swell alerts arrive!
