Hope everyone had a great and safe 4th! The waves have been mediocre, but that can be expected this time of year. There’s some activity in the ocean on the horizon, and with other passing fronts this week, it won’t be completely flat, but you’ll have to bust out the small wave gear to get by. Tropical Depression #4 has formed, and it’s time to keep our eyes on the radar this week and look forward to future developments! Not a bad time of year to think about getting that new summer fun board shaped by your local shapers, or dive into your local surf shops to grab one off the rack! This coming week, we are monitoring a tropical disturbance that is too far off to predict, but we are slowly heading into the heart of hurricane season 2017, and things could get interesting soon. Waves are on the way, get ready!
