Back in action after a little island getaway with the fam, and looks like we’ve had a little wave action too! Hurricane Season 2017 is heating up, and the Cape Verde seasonal months are ahead which is the prime time when the Atlantic Ocean starts to really come alive! Currently the Pacific is getting lit up with storms, and as we approach August 1st, we’ll look to things shifting in our favor as the developmental indexes increase mightily! After a fun run of little surf this past week from a mix of Bermuda High with a long stretching low dipping down the coast, the waves look to fade a little in size through the week, but some groundswell in the mix still giving us a long range logging wave, and we’re still in this full moon phase so time your tides right and you could score a fun surf on the right equipment! There are 4 tropical waves pouring off of Africa as we speak, and the Saharan region is beginning to march the elephants of storms we are looking for that will become our swell producers in the near future! Wax up the logs and fishes and get out there, and hang in there for future developments later in the week! Back to school time is approaching, so now is the time to get into your favorite local surf shops for those back to school duds before the racks get cleared out!
