Well… It’s about time! Welcome to the Atlantic Tropical Storm Danny! We knew it would only be a matter of time before you would awaken Mother Nature, and lots more activity starting to brew up too! Lets get right down to the action! Tropical Storm Danny has been named in the eastern Atlantic and is rolling along slowly 1600 miles from the Windward Islands. At a slow churning pace Danny is sustaining winds of 40+ mph at present and is predicted to gain strength slowly throughout the week towards the weekend. Danny is forecasted to become a Hurricane once it makes its first island landfall, but which way will it go? We haven’t had a legit storm yet this year, and Danny could be the guy late to the party, but it is still way early to tell so lets not get over-amped just yet.. But, it’s nice to have something positive to talk about this Hurricane Season and we’ll take what we can get. Another system is pushing off the mid-Atlantic making things interesting as far as pulling the dryer air out of Danny’s way for now. If anyone was planning a last gas trip to the Islands for the summer, this could be a good one to chase if you make the right call! We’ll keep our eyes peeled very close to this one and be back online for multiple updates throughout Danny’s progress! As far as this week on the home front, it’s the quiet before the storm, and not much going on but microwaves so bust out the LB and get some paddle time in!
