Movie biopics on rappers or musicians aren’t a new thing at all. However, the red-band trailer for this one looks like it could be different then most, which would make sense because N.W.A. was not your usual group.

The movie, borrowing the title from the group’s debut album, is scheduled to be released in August. It’s being directed by F. Gary Gray, who directed “Friday” and “Law Abiding Citizen.” Filming in Compton one day, someone flashed a gang sign to a car and the group was fired upon, with one bystander being shot. The trailer features quite a few scenes that look crazy, including Cube walking with someone and aiming some sort of bazooka. Yea … it might be that type of film. Take a look at the trailer below.
