Gastrofest 2015

Local restaurants, food providers, craft breweries, cookbook authors, chef demos and tastings will be held at Hemming Park throughout the day. Come out and celebrate every aspect of Jacksonville’s culinary scene from great local restaurants to food trucks and craft breweries. Flying Iguana, Metro Diner and North Beach Fish Camp are just a few of the many restaurants that will be present.

Rhythm & Ribs Festival

April 10-12, St. Augustine, rhythmandribs.net

The 20th annual festival returns with its award-winning BBQ, constant live music, arts, crafts, vendors and children’s rides, games and activities. It was voted the best festival in St. Augustine in 2014. If you’re a fan of BBQ, this is the place to be at.

The 2015 Oyster Jam Music Festival

April 11-12, Jacksonville Metro Park and Marina, theoysterjammusicfestival.com

Visit the biggest oyster roast in town with a huge selection of seafood, craft beer and live bands. There will also be a can’t miss bikini contest, along with cook-offs, an oyster shuck’n contest, wakeboarding contest, corn hole tournament and a stand-up paddle board race. Registration is online to take place in any of the contests.

Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival

May 1-3, Amelia Island, www.shrimpfestival.com

The 52nd annual shrimp fest will have plenty of seafood, arts and craft booths, entertainment and antique sales. There will be a pirate parade, a Miss Shrimp pageant, ice cream eating contest and a 5K run.

Orange Park Fall Festival

October 17-18, Orange Park, www.townoforangepark.com

This festival will be two days filled with music, food, crafts, entertainment and vendors.
