Recently, we stumbled across this remarkable new creation called the Seabin, a project to help clean up waterways. This invention collects floating trash, fuel, oil and detergents. Designed to attach to docks, pontoons and even yachts, we can use the Seabin in marinas, lakes, harbors and inland waterways. So, how does it work? The Seabin sits at the water’s surface and attaches to a water pump on the dock or yacht. The pump filters the water out and even has an option to separate oils. Then, the clean water flows back into the ocean or lake. The Seabin draws in all floating debris and liquids while a natural “catch bag” collects the waste. The Seabin works all day everyday to help clean our waterways, and we think that’s pretty rad. Check it out below.
