Well, well, well … we have swell! What was thought to be a little nor’easter pulse swung into our window nicely and produced a little late-winter blip, sending us some chunky head-high-to-overhead surf the last couple of days. All of Florida got a piece of the action, with some cleaner surf past the Cape. Thats the cool thing about weather, it is always unpredictable. Some crazy things about this so-called winter, record snowfall/rainfall out west, a consistent high line in the jet stream all season, barely any freeze over on the Great Lakes, and spring has sprung early in the southern regions!

As our front moves on out to sea, we should see a little die off in the swell overnight with some fun cleanup conditions for Saturday in the waist-to-chest-plus range! There’ll be a bit of a lull for a few days after that until we’ll see a little suckup windswell/groundswell for the middle of next week with some very nice warm-weather conditions. Might be time already to get out there and shop at your favorite local surf shops for spring suits, short sleeve fills and toppers as the water temp is at 65 and it’s not really going to drop any time soon at this point! Wax ’em up and get on it!
