Word is spreading fast around the Internet about the latest reunion rumor, except this time, it might actually be true. Atlanta-based rappers André 3000 and Big Boi are allegedly planning a 2014 reunion for the beloved hip-hop duo Outkast. The announcement that the pair would be heading back on the road to tour comes from Revolt TV, who is now “officially confirming” Outkast is currently in talks to reunite next year for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The festival kicks off in April 2014, so Coachella would be the start of the reunion run, and would eventually be followed by additional festival dates in 2014. Or at least that’s the rumor.

Billboard.com is also confirming this. The article posted states the two have been in talks and that, “…there have definitely been “some conversations” about Outkast reuniting, while another says it is ‘all systems go’ for Big Boi and Andre 3000 to end their hiatus next year.” This is not the first time that an Outkast reunion rumor has gone around before, and a key thing to remember here is that none of these official confirmations that some media outlets have published have actually been confirmed by either Andre 3000 or Big Boi. At this point, all we can do is remain optimistic and hope that this isn’t just a rumor…and also that if Outkast does tour, they come to Bonnaroo.
