Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend and got some fun waves to celebrate the the men and women that protect(ed) our freedoms! We are currently holding in a Bermuda High pattern after the last front passed, hot air, fairly dry climate, and some chunky little waves for most of the week in the waist high ranges. A long frontal boundary has been wreaking havoc over North Texas at present causing major flooding and turbulent weather in that region. As this front approaches our window towards the weekend we could see some soaking weather and a slight spike in waves with semi-favorable winds at times! We are coming into a full moon phase so be aware of your tides and rips at your favorite breaks and you can score a fun wave at the right times of day! In the Tropics all is quiet at present, and albeit by default we are in Hurricane Season, we officially begin June 1st, so be prepared for the worst but pray to the surf gods for the best! Alot of activity in the Eastern Pacific already this year, might be a good time to plan that trip to Nica or Costa during flat season!
