Well, well … it’s not over until the fat lady sings as they say! At least for us, it’s not going to be that bad. For our friends to the north, they are about to get rocked like a home run from Reggie! They are predicting Winter Storm Reggie could be a fast and furious storm such as the Winter Storm of 1962! We’ve dodged a lot of winter bullets in the south and are in the clear, but hope to reap some benefits of these systems moving forward into spring, where historically we get some good surf!

We’ve had a fun run of surf this past week, and we’re setting up for another round of nor’easter punch for this weekend and into next week! We should expect smaller conditions into Friday with building conditions out of the northeast and into Saturday in the waist-to-chest-high-plus range, a little lull on Sunday and then rebounds into Monday with full chest-to-head-high conditions! A mix of windswell/groundswell to fill the weekend, who could ask for more, and with with moderate temps, it should be another fun run of surf in North Florida! Winds look to shape up on Tuesday and into Wednesday, and then we’ll go from there. Until then, get ready to wax ’em up and get ready for some Reggie swell!
