Yeezy has decided to bless the masses with his G.O.O.D Friday series once again after recently releasing the TY Dolla $ign assisted track, “Real Friends.” He also gave a preview of the Kanye West and Madlib produced tune “No More Parties In LA.” Both tracks can be heard right here (or you can listen to the snippet below). On the track “Real Friends,” we have Yeezy reflecting on his deceitful comrades with Boi 1da, SEVNTHOMAS,  Frank Dukes and Havoc handling the production. The production on this track is very ethereal and atmospheric with heavy reverb and booming bass — the perfect soundscape for raw and introspective lyricism. Over this instrumentation, Kanye shows a level of vulnerability that he hasn’t shown in years since he transitioned to his more gaudy, braggadocios swagger.

“You wanna ask some questions ’bout some real s**t?
Like I ain’t got enough pressure to deal with
Please don’t pressure me with that bill s**t
Cause everybody got ’em, that ain’t children
Oh you’ve been nothin’ but a friend to me
Niggas thinkin’ I’m crazy, you defendin’ me
It’s funny I ain’t spoke to niggas in centuries
To be honest, dawg I ain’t feelin’ your energy
Money turn your kin into an enemy
Niggas ain’t real as they pretend to be.”

The snippet that was also released with this track “No More Parties In LA,” is a track that Kanye West produced with Madlib around the time period of his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy release in 2010. This track has a much more gritty, soulful feel reminiscent of Madlib’s trademark sound. Kendrick Lamar makes a brief appearance on this snippet as well, providing just enough of an appetizer to leave the masses salivating for the main course. Kanye West’s heavily anticipated album SWISH is due for release on February 11, 2016.
