Happy TPC Week! Lots of traffic, bars and restaurants packed, and tourists galore! It’s all good for our community because, hey, they aren’t surfing they’re watching golf, but some of us surfers like golf and attending one of the biggest golf tourneys in the world right in our back yard! A tropical wave you’ve heard of? Well, it kinda happened but was short lived, and the mixed swell off the Bahamas is fading into the Atlantic, but there’s another system down in the deep Caribbean side of central America brewing that nobody knows what will do at this point. At least… it won’t be flat! Spring swells continue, nothing huge, but we should have ridable surf through the golf tourney weekend and beyond, just on the smaller size. Just in time we should see an increase in swell after the weekend so if you do spare a few sessions for some rounds at TPC don’t feel like you’re missing out yet! We should have some waist to stomach high surf throughout the week with some mix groundswell/windswell with favorable winds at times! If you’re not going to the tourney, get on it! If you are, no worries, more spring swell on the way starting Monday!
