The first time I ever owned pepper spray, it was shaped like a tube of lipstick. Since then, I’ve been considering owning a butterfly knife, for party tricks and to look badass, a more practical knife and even a taser. What? Parking garages scare me …
If only there was a weapon for me that’s more, hmm … 2014?
Introducing “The Defender,” my potentially new PWK item. That’s “phone, wallet, keys” for those who didn’t know about the best reminder to not leave their important stuff behind.
The Defender is a pepper spray that when sprayed, takes a picture of the person you’re spraying and sends it the police along with your GPS location, other user information, as well as flashing a bright light in the attackers face and emitting a loud alarm to alert people to your location.
Not only is it sleek and has the ability to attach to your keys, but via Bluetooth, you would be able to send the picture of the assailant to the cops right away.
Just look at this guy, he doesn’t stand a chance.

The Defender in all its glory.
The Defender is still currently in the funding phase, but should be available by the end of 2014.
