Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re likely aware that The Carters—aka Beyoncé and Jay Z—have a new album out. Released in June “Everything is Love” features the power couple in top form, performing tracks that Pitchfork described as “…a spectacle of romance and opulence like make-up sex on a bed of money.”
Whether the couple actually copulates on a pile of cash has yet to be substantiated. But with an estimated net worth somewhere north of $350 million, there’s no doubt the Carters have the resources do so. Case in point, while successful artists may travel from tour date to tour date aboard a well-appointed bus, for the couple’s co-headlining On the Run II Tour, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have procured a mega-yacht, at the assumedly reasonable rate of $1.2 million per week.
And who stands to rake in the coin from the couple’s most recent romantic spectacle? None other than Jacksonville Jaguars owner and former Void Magazine cover boy, Shad Khan!
Multiple outlets have reported that Jay and Bey and the couple’s three kids have been spotted relaxing between tour stops aboard Khan’s 95-meter mega-yacht, Kismet (estimated value: $200 million). Details are scarce, but one thing’s for certain, when changing the sheets of the yacht’s innumerable beds, Kismet’s staff would be wise to check under the mattress.
