Recently, French electronic duo Daft Punk visited Terry Richardson’s studio and shot some pretty cool pictures for the Wall Street Journal Magazine. Richardson has seen a lot of press recently for his extremely controversial photos of Hannah Montana…err Miley Cyrus. Excuse me. Clad in revealing leotards and other scandalous clothing. This time around however, the pictures are less shock and more awesome. Terry can be seen clad in his trademark flannel shirt, but later, wardrobes swap around several times until the iconic outfits of each are worn by Richardson or Daft Punk.
Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter were shot in their favorite garb featuring the glitter-clad suits and acrylic guitars they used in several of the Random Access Memories’ videos and promotions. Alongside the French duo is model Gisele Bundchen, who was recently listed in Forbes as one of the top 10 highest paid models. This has been an important year for both Daft Punk and Bundchen, with Random Access Memories finally being released to mass appeal, while Bundchen currently remains the most sought-after model. The November 2013 issue of The Wall Street Journal Magazine is titled the “innovators issue”, hence the reason for featuring the trio of talent.
