After a chilly blast this last week, some fun surf, and a BIG JAGS W we’re into round 2 for the beginning of this week as our swell will begin to fade in a few days. After Grayson a few weeks ago at he turn of the New Year, the winter switch has been flipped on, our coldest 2 months of the year, and after water temps have plummeted over 10 degrees in some spots, it’s time to get out and buy that extra rubber if you haven’t already! We have a nice longer period leftover swell as this long lingering low fades off the East Coast, and as is the case many times during this time of year the elephants are matching by us heading south past the cape. So if you want to thaw out in South Florida over the next 48 hours you will score some warmer bigger surf down there! Right smack dab in the middle of the country is a giant “H” that will push down towards the Gulf making it almost flat, but towards the weekend it will give us a good excuse to snuggle up to the TV indoors and watch our beloved JAGS put a beat down on Tom Brady! At least through Friday and Saturday there will be some frozen log waves if you need to take a polar plunge! GOOOOOO JAGUARS!!!
