Florida has two Major League Baseball teams, the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays. But apparently, neither of these two teams are the most popular MLB team for fans in Florida.

According to a public poll, which is known for mostly conducting political polls, the Atlanta Braves are the most popular team in the state. They had 17 percent of the vote, and in second was the New York Yankees, at 14 percent.

The Marlins and the Rays are third and fourth with 12 and 11 percent. Both of these teams have had poor attendance problems, and the Braves have been widely popular around the whole south since the ’70s. With that being said, shouldn’t one of Florida’s own teams be the most popular?
